The Caduceus Undergraduate Health Journal at the University of the Pacific is now accepting articles for publication in the Spring 2016 Edition. The purpose of this undergraduate health journal is to bring awareness and educate the Pacific community about issues relating to health through articles written by undergraduate students of ALL majors and backgrounds. This last year’s edition included such topics as care and prevention of athletic injuries, ethics in medicine, and racial and socioeconomic disparities in health care.

Caduceus is currently looking for articles about the role of health in medicine, politics, economics, and administration—especially topics which students can relate to. Writers can talk about personal experiences with medicine and health, thoughts on the health field, scientific findings, or even all of the above. Articles must be between 300 and 1,000 words and are accepted on a rolling basis.
